Francesco Albanese, CEO of Naturae Victus, was a guest on “Un caffè con…”, an online showcase that promotes business innovation in Italy.
The programme is hosted by Francesca Pilieri, a business developer specialising in food & beverage, and supported by two sister associations: AISOM and AICIM (Italian Association for Business Culture and Management), which promote a culture of business innovation.
This event provided us with an important platform to present our story: an innovative industrial project focused on the development of sugar-free ingredients, with the aim of combining flavour and natural origins.
During the interview, the key areas in which Naturae Victus invests on a daily basis emerged:
1) Clean labels, favouring natural products over chemical ones and constantly investing in R&D to achieve ever simpler labels, the so-called ‘green labels’.
2) A focus on health without compromising on taste, offering products which, whilst being healthy and free from added sugar, lactose and gluten, are still suitable for daily consumption and enjoyment.
3) A focus on the finished product, always with industrial and professional use in mind, and supporting companies and businesses in their transition to sugar-free processes.
Albanese then previewed a packed programme of projects that will soon become a reality.
First and foremost, some tasty new additions to the product ranges: a range of jams and preserves with no added sugar and no pectin, more flavours of spreads from the ‘Qualy’ Cream range, and exclusive vegan and natural ice creams with no added sugar.
The CEO affirmed the company’s commitment to continuing to grow and expanding into more and more international markets, currently including Poland, Serbia, Montenegro and Greece. Finally, new partnerships with several large retail chains are on the horizon, which will enable the public to find certain ‘Naturae Victus’ products on supermarket shelves.
